Candlelight

Love is like a candlelight,
Glowing in the dark
The warmness kindles
From a tiny spark.

The light is soft at first,
Then, it grows bright,

First Lady of Indian Hospitality

The grand old lady of Indian hospitality surrounded by a flock of pigeons. Clicked on 1st March 2008 at an early morning concert at the Gateway of India arranged by Pancham Nishad. Ustad Rashid Khan had performed then. I (for that matter no one) could ever have dreamt what would happen here 6 months later.

In such tense & fear-ridden times, its inspirational to read about those who built the Taj. Read an eulogising article about the Taj here and about JRD Tata here.
